Nordic tales and open fire

Join us on a hike up Strinneberget where we meet around the fire. While the sun's rays make a semblance of subsiding, we put the cauldron on the fire and listen to the old Norse fairy tales.
Boiled coffee and hot chocolate cooked over the fire are served with homemade Swedish fika to stories about Middle-earth, Asgard and Utgard. About the gods, goddesses and giants. And all the ordinary people who threw axes into the air in their supplication for rain.
During this hike you will encounter the medieval mysticism surrounding the forest and its guardians. We move with respect for the essence of the place and strive to give you a holistic experience with a mix of stories and silence to take in the forest's own sounds. And of course, really good coffee.
The hike is easy to medium, you need sneakers or other good shoes to walk on the forest path.

Practical information
We meet at Bjärtrå Hembygdsgård in the village of Nässom. From here we go up to the top of the mountain together at a leisurely pace. Put on shoes suitable for forest terrain, such as lighter hiking shoes or sturdy sneakers.
