Tails in the Night

Join us for a hike through the woods where we camp around the fire and strap up hammocks between the trees. While the sun's rays make a semblance of subsiding, we hang the cauldron over the fire and listen to tales of yesteryear.
We take in all the sounds of the forest and weave our otherwise hectic lives into the totality of the magic of being alive. Being able to breathe, see and hear. You will learn how we can use the powers of the gods in everyday life and how our ancestors dealt with both darkness and light.
Hot chocolate and coffee boiled over the fire are served to stories about Middle-earth, Asgard and Utgard, about the gods, goddesses and giants. And all the ordinary people who threw axes into the air in their supplication for rain.
The hike is easy to medium, you need sneakers or other good shoes to walk on the forest path. The hammocks have mosquito nets, you need sleeping pads and a sleeping bag for three seasons as well as underwear to survive the night.
As the Sisters of the Night ride across the firmament, we take refuge in our hammocks and sleep under the open sky. We would therefore like to ask those who wish to read or listen to something in the hammock to show consideration to those around you, with headphones and low beam headlamps.
In the morning we let the sun's rays and the chirping of birds wake us up, coffee and homemade bread are served when the fire is brought back to life. The walk back continues to offer the magic that prevails when even all the guardians of the forest emerge from the slumber of the night. A break for coffee and a final conversation is made before we leave the forest behind us and at the parking lot our paths are parted with wishes of good luck and a warm reunion.

Practical information
The food served is vegan. Please indicate any allergies as soon as possible so that we can adjust your diet.
You bring your own sleeping bag for three seasons, sleeping mat and pillow, we are happy to provide tips and advice on equipment. Optionally, there may be loans available at the leisure bank in Härnösand, contact them if you are interested in borrowing.
